Carrot Raita Recipe with step by step photos .Carrot raita is a salad prepared with yogurt and freshly grated carrot along with chilli and a seasoning .It goes well with biriyani or pulao .A raita would be the test accomplishment with a spicy biriyani. Now let’s see how to prepare this.

Carrot Raita Recipe | How to make Carrot Raita
Standard 1 cup measures 240 ml
Ingredients
- Thick Curd / Yogurt – 1 cup
- Grated carrot – ½ cup
- Crushed Ginger – 1 tsp
- Green Chilli – 1
- Salt as needed
- To Temper:
- Oil– 1 tsp
- Mustard Seeds – 1 tsp
Instructions
- In a vessel take the curd, to this add in grated ginger and chopped green chilli.
- Next add in grated carrot and whisk everything together .Finally add in salt and mix well.
- In a pan heat oil and then add in mustard seeds once they splutter switch off the flame and add the seasoning to the carrot raita. Carrot raita is now ready to serve.
Notes
- Â Tastes good when served any Pulao or Biryani.
- Â You can also add curry leaves and Cashew nuts to the seasoning.
