2. In a pan add in 3 tbsp of oil. Once its hot add in the roasted gram dal and fry till it is brown. Remove from the pan and drain in paper towel.
3. In the same pan add in the roasted peanuts, fry for a min and then remove from the pan.
4. In the same pan then add in the green chili and curry leaves fry for a min in low flame and then add in the hing. Fry everything together, Next add in the turmeric powder .
5. Add Salt as per taste. Fry everything for a few secs and then add in the roasted peanuts and roasted gram dal.
6. Mix everything. And then add the bajra flakes. Combine everything and cook in a low flame for a min and then switch off the stove.

Bajra Flakes Mixture
Standard 1 cup measures 240 ml
Ingredients
- Bajra Flakes / Kambu Aval – 1 cups
- Oil – 3 tbsp
- Roasted Gram Dal – ¼ cup
- Roasted Peanuts – ¼ cup
- Green Chilli – 1
- Curry Leaves – 1 spring
- Hing – ¼ tsp
- Turmeric powder – ¼ tsp
- Salt
Instructions
- In a pan add in the bajra flakes. Dry Roast in a low flame. Roast until it is crisp. Transfer it in another pan and allow it to cool down.
- In a pan add in 3 tbsp of oil. Once its hot add in the roasted gram dal and fry till it is brown. Remove from the pan and drain in paper towel.
- In the same pan add in the roasted peanuts, fry for a min and then remove from the pan.
- In the same pan then add in the green chili and curry leaves fry for a min in low flame and then add in the hing.
- Fry everything together, Next add in the turmeric powder .
- Add Salt as per taste. Fry everything for a few secs and then add in the roasted peanuts and roasted gram dal.
- Mix everything. And then add the bajra flakes. Combine everything and cook in a low flame for a min and then switch off the stove.
- Allow it to cool completely and then store in an sir tight container.

- Instead of bajra flakes, any millet flakes or poha or puffed rice can be used.
- Makes a healthy evening snack
