Cucumber Pulissery Recipe | Vellarikkai Moru Curry | Cucumber Yogurt Curry with Step by step photos. Pulissery is a very popular curry from the kitchens of Kerala. It is usually prepared with various vegetables and even fruits like Ash gourd, Cucumber, Pumpkin, Mango, or even Pineapple.

In pulissery we cook the vegetables in a coconut-based masala along with yogurt. Finally seasoned with an aromatic coconut oil tadka. I prepared cucumber pulissery for the Onam Sadhya. Now let's see how to prepare velarikai Pulissery.

      4.    Once it comes to a boil. Switch off the flame. Meanwhile heat a tadka pan with coconut oil add the mustard seeds, Curry leaves ,Hing and dry red chilli.

      5.    Add the prepared takda to the kuzhambu and Cucumber pulissery is now ready to be served.

I made cucumber Pulissery as a part of the Onam Sadhya which I prepared. I will do a separate post on that soon.
