Hamantash is a Jewish cookie that is triangular n shape and has a filling in the center. The cookie is circular one and it is folded to achieve a triangular shape. Traditionally the filling would be poppy seeds, dates, or apricots. Pastry puff can also be used to make the cookies.

- Soft unsalted Butter – ½ cup
- Sugar – ¼ cup
- All-purpose flour – 1 cup
- Vanilla essence – 1 tsp
- Lemon zest – 1 tsp
- Any Fruit Jam for filling – as needed

- In a mixing bowl add in powdered Sugar and soft unsalted butter. Cream together and mix well.
- Add-in Vanilla essence and Lemon zest mix well.
- Now add in all-purpose flour, bring the dough together to form a soft dough. Cling wrap and put in the fridge for 30 mins.

Notes
But I have used Jam. Use a small quantity and make sure the edges are sealed properly otherwise the filling might fudge out.
