    Lemon Rice Recipe | Elumichai Sadham | Variety Rice Recipe with step by step pictures. Lemon flavored rice is an instant rice that can be prepared in just less than 10 mins. It goes well with any spicy fry. Now let’s see how to prepare lemon rice

        Step by step Method with pictures: 
        1.    In a Kadai add in the oil once it heats up add in the Mustard Seeds, Cumin   seeds,Channa Dal let it splutter and then add in the Roasted Peanuts and Cashew nuts.

     2.    Then add the green chilli, dry red chilli and curry leaves saute in a medium flame for a minute. Next add Turmeric powder.

     3.    Mix well and then add the required salt and lemon juice.

     4.    Cook in a low flame for a minute and then switch off the stove. Now add the cooked rice and mix evenly. Lemon rice is ready.

    Serve lemon rice with potato fry .It is one match made in heaven.

    Ingredients

    • Cooked Rice – 1 cup
    • Oil – 1 tbsp
    • Mustard seeds – ½ tsp
    • Cumin seeds – ½ tsp
    • Channa Dal – 1 tsp
    • Roasted Peanuts – 2 tbsp
    • Cashew nuts – 4-5 broken
    • Green Chilli – 2
    • Dry Red chilli – 3
    • Turmeric powder - ½ tsp
    • Salt as needed
    • Lemon juice – 2 tbsp
    • Curry Leaves a spring

    Instructions

    Notes

    • Goes well with Potato Fry or any fryms.
    •  Makes a perfect lunch box dish.
    •  You can also use leftover rice
