Onam is one festival which I look forward ever year though I don’t celebrate it, I love to cook an Onam Sadhya / Grand Feast for family.This year due to the Kerala Floods almost there is no Onam and hence I dint have any plans to prepare. But the previous night I just decided to cook a mini onam sadhya.And I immediately took a notepad and pen and started to note the dishes which I thought of cooking and then I noted down the ingredients which I don’t have and immediately went to shopping. Luckily we have the market nearby and hence sourcing the ingredients and banana leaf was not that difficult for me.
I dint make any preparation the previous day ,on the Onam day morning I started cooking around 8 o clock in the morning. Môm helped me in grating the coconut and the rest all I did by myself.
In the Onam sadhya I have prepared.

Though I missed cooking many traditional recipes like Kootucurry,Olan, Puliinji and many I am still satisfied that I myself could whip up a onam sadhya in a less time. Click here to see the Onam Sadhya which I prepared last year.
