    Potato fry is a simple and quick Lunch side dish that could be prepared in just 15 mins. Goes well with any mixed rice or pulao.

    Potato Fry Recipe with Step by step photos. Potato fry is a simple and quick Lunch side dish that could be prepared in just 15 mins. If you have some potatoes you can just chop and prepare this awesome side dish.

    It is a great Lunch box side dish recipe. It pairs well with almost all the gravy’s and white rice. Anybody can cook potatoes even beginners and bachelor’s .It will be my life saver most of the days before leaving to work.

    How to prepare Potato Fry , Pictorial

     1) Take your potatoes and wash them really well. Now take a peeler and peel the skin of the potatoes. Finely chop it into small cubes. Similarly, take crushed garlic and curry leaves Take a Kadai and add oil, Once it’s hot add in curry leaves crushed garlic and Hing

    2) Saute for a min or so, and then add in Cubed potatoes

    3) Next add in Chilli powder, Salt and Turmeric powder

    4) Mix everything well and cook till the potatoes become golden brown in color.

    5. Crispy Potato Roast is ready

    Pro Tips:

    • Don’t close the kadai as it might increase the moisture content and makes the potatoes soggy.
    • Continue the entire process in a low flame or it might get burnt in the bottom.
    • Very less oil is required for this potato fry. Stir once in every two minutes.
    • This Potato fry goes well with White Rice when served with any curry

    Standard 1 cup measures 240 ml

    Ingredients

    • 6 Garlic
    • 3 Potato
    • ¼ tsp Hing
    • 1 tsp Chilli powder
    • ¼ tsp Turmeric powder
    • Salt to taste
    • 1 spring Curry Leaves
    • 1 tbsp Oil

    Instructions

      add in garlic , Curry leaves and hing
    • Saute for a min or so, and then add in Cubed potatoes
      Add in potato
    • Next add in Chilli powder, Salt, and Turmeric powder
      Add in spices
    • Mix everything well and cook till the potatoes become golden brown in color.
      Combine and cook
    • Crispy Potato Roast is ready
