Raw Banana Fry is a Tasty Lunch side dish. Sliced plantains are mixed with spices and Tawa fried to perfection. A perfect appetizer.

    Raw Banana Fry

Raw Banana Fry is a quick Lunch side dish. We can prepare it easily on a working day morning. The chopping of the banana also needs minimal effort.

All we need is to slice them. Toss the sliced banana with spices and fry on a heavy iron Tawa. Iron Tawa or cast iron pan works well as a charm. I have another version of the banana fry recipe in the blog already.

I have a few other interesting recipes with Raw bananas on the blog. Don't miss to check them out.

Banana Kofta Balls - Raw banana is steamed and mixed with spices made as a ball. It can be air fried or deep-fried as you prefer.

Banana Peel Chutney - No need to waste the banana skip, Can make a delicious dip or chutney out of it. Do check out the recipe.

    Tips

    • Tastes best when served with Steam Rice and Sambar or Curd Rice.
    • Don’t leave the banana a long time after slicing it will turn dark. So always keep it immersed in water in that case.
    • Don’t slice the banana’s too thin .Then it will be very crisp and resemble chips.
