Strawberry Lassi or Strawberry yogurt drink is one of the best summer delights. We prepare lassi with chilled yogurt, frozen strawberry, and sugar.
Strawberry Lassi Recipe | How to make Strawberry Lassi with Step by step pictures. Summer always demands something chill and soothing. These beverages are the best to keep us hydrated the whole day. I had frozen some strawberries in the fridge and I tried Mango Strawberry Smoothie and Lassi.
What is Lassi?
Lassi is an Indian yogurt drink precisely buttermilk in the regional language. It is a blend of buttermilk with salt, water, and spices. It is sweet or salt flavored. These days we prepare lassi in various flavors.
Yogurt - Use plain unflavored yogurt.
Milk - Use full cream milk for a creamier lassi.
Strawberry - You can use either fresh or frozen strawberries. I recommend adding frozen strawberries for a creamier drink.
Sugar - adjust the sugar as per the sweetness you prefer. you can also add honey.
Strawberry lassi benefits
Yogurt is loaded with calcium and protein, it's an ideal summer drink. They are also a good source of lactic acid and vitamin D which help in boosting the immune system.
Can we make the lassi vegan?
Yes easily. For a vegan lassi use vegan yogurt in place of plain yogurt. Use Almond Milk or just skip milk in place of regular dairy milk.

2. Next add in the sugar and Milk.
3. Blend well until its frothy. Serve chilled.
Tips & Variations
- You may also add in some ice cubes and serve the lassi chilled.
- For a vegan version of the strawberry lassi recipe use vegan yogurt and nondairy milk like almond or soy milk.
- Always use frozen strawberry for a creamier lassi.
Stays good in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. I do not recommend freezing the lassi as it has yogurt added.

Strawberry Lassi Recipe | How to make Strawberry Lassi
- 1 cup Curd / Yogurt
- ½ cup Strawberry
- 2 tbsp Sugar
- ½ cup Milk
- In a blender add in the Curd along with chopped Strawberry.
- Next add in the sugar and Milk.
- Blend well until its frothy. Serve chilled.
- Serve Chilled.
- You can skip the sugar if the strawberry is sweet. Or honey can be used instead.
