Veg Manchurian Gravy Recipe | Restaurant style Chinese Vegetable Manchurian Gravy with step by step pictures. Manchurian is one dish which I made successfully in my initial days of cooking since then its been a regular affair in home. Manchurian is an Indo Chinese dish and usually made as a semi gravy .It can be made with Chicken ,Prawn ,Veg and Gobi Manchurian is again a famous and most ordered dish. Manchurian goes well with fried rice or Noodles.
Instead of deep frying the Manchurian balls, You can also cook in the appe pan. Also I made it as a semi gravy. If you prefer a dry version cook it till thick in a low flame. Now lets see how to prepare Veg Manchurian gravy.
2. Mix everything together. Now sprinkle and add water little by little to form a soft dough. Divide them into equal sized balls.
3. Heat oil for deep frying, Fry the vegetable balls in a medium flame until its golden and fully cooked. Drain them from oil and set aside.
4. For preparing the gravy heat another pan with oil .
5. Add in finely chopped onion and garlic, saute for few secs and then add in the Soy sauce and Chilli Sauce. Mix well.
6. Dissolve the corn flour in water and then add the water to the gravy. Cook for few mins once the gravy starts to become thick. Add in the deep-fried Manchurian balls.
7. Cook for another 1 mins, Sprinkle the Spring onions and switch off the flame.

Veg Manchurian Gravy
Standard 1 cup measures 240 ml
Ingredients
- All-purpose flour – ½ cup
- Corn Flour – 2 tbsp
- Pepper Powder – ½ tsp
- Salt as needed
- Water to sprinkle and knead the dough
- Carrot – ¼ cup
- Beans – ¼ cup
- Cabbage – ¼ cup
- Oil – For deep frying
For the Gravy:
- Oil – 2 tbsp
- Onion – 1
- Garlic pods – 5
- Chilli Sauce – 3 tbsp
- Soy Sauce – 2 tbsp
- Water – 1 cup
- Corn Flour – 1 tbsp
- Spring Onion – 3 tbsp
- Salt a pinch
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl add in the All-purpose flour, Corn flour, Pepper powder and Salt, mix once and then add in the carrot , beans and cabbage.

Notes
· Goes well with Fried Rice, noodles.
· Cook the gravy in a high flame, Also ½ tsp of sugar can be used.
· I used Red Chilli sauce for the recipe as the colour and taste would be good.
· You can also use 1 tsp of tomato sauce in the gravy if you prefer the sweetness.
· Carefully add the salt as the sauce already has salt in it.
