In a pressure cooker add in the cleaned Mutton Liver pieces. To this add in Turmeric powder and the required Salt. Pressure Cooker for 3 whistles. Let the pressure release on its own and then open the cooker. Separate the liver pieces from the water and set them aside. You can use the leftover mutton stock while preparing biryani or any soups.
Heat a pan with coconut oil, Once it's hot add in Fennel seeds, Cinnamon Stick and Curry Leaves. Let it splutter and then add in the Ginger garlic paste and cook till the raw smell leaves.
Now add in the cooked Mutton Liver pieces.
Saute for 5 mins in medium flame.
To this add in the Garam Masala, Pepper powder, and Required Salt. I am using crushed pepper rather than pepper powder indeed it gives more flavor. Also, check and add salt as we have already added while cooking the liver.
Combine everything and cook for another 5 mins and switch off the flame. Mutton Liver Pepper Fry is now ready to serve.
Notes
Don’t overcook the liver as it might become rubbery.
Tastes best as a starter.
