  • Add the boiled and mashed potatoes. Combine everything and cook for a min.
  • Add in Chilli powder, Garam Masala, Turmeric powder, and the required salt.
  • Combine and cook for a min. Now the filling is ready. Add in finely chopped cilantro and switch off the stove and transfer to a mixing bowl. Let it cool down to a boil.
  • Next, add the Bread crumbs and cornflour. Combine everything.
  • Divide the prepared filling into 5-6 equal portions. Apply little oil to your palms and then scoop 1 portion and shape the patties. Refrigerate the patties for 30 mins. You can store up to 24 hours as well.

Mushroom Patties in stovetop

  • Heat a skillet with 2 tbsp of oil Let it heat up to medium-high heat. Place the patties and cook for 2-3 min on one side and then flip and cook on the other side for another 2 mins. • Preheat the air fryer to 392 F (200 deg C) for 5 mins. Now brush the basket with little oil or use a spray. Place the patties in the basket. Air fry the patties at 356 F (180 deg C) for 12 mins. Assemble the Burger

  • Slice the burger buns into half. You can also toast the buns with little oil until lightly golden on both sides. This is optional anyhow. On one half of the burger bun spread in a generous layer of sriracha mayo.
  • Place a mushroom patty on top. Place an onion slice and tomato slice above that. Top it with a lettuce leaf and then with a cheese slice and cover the burger with the other half of the burger bun.
