Orange Juice

Orange juice is healthy drink which is much needed to beat the heat this summer

Standard 1 cup measures 240 ml

Equipment

  • juicer

Ingredients

  • 4 Orange
  • Sugar – To taste
  • ½ tsp Lemon – juice from ½ lemon optional
  • ½ inch piece Ginger (crushed) optional
  • few Ice cubes optional

Instructions 

  • Peel the Orange skin and chop them into halfs.
  • Using a orange squeezer extract the juice from the orange.
  • To this add in the Sugar and lemon juice and ginger piece if using.
  • Mix everything together and then pour in the serving glass and serve. Use ice cubes if using,

Notes

  • Serve the orange juice immediately after preparing .As both Orange and Lemon have citric acid in it.
  • Don’t skip adding the Ginger as it enhances the flavour of the juice.
  • You can skip the sugar part if your Oranges are fresh and Juicy. If its sour we have to add sugar.
  •  Add Ice Cubes while serving, or you can use cold water while blending the Oranges.
