Mango Oats Pancake

Mango Oat pancakes are something which is not  to be missed during the mango season.It makes a great after school snack or breakfast recipe for the kids.

Standard 1 cup measures 240 ml

Ingredients

  • Mango Puree – ½ cup
  • All-purpose flour – ¼ cup
  • Oats – ¼ cup
  • Baking Soda a pinch
  • Milk – ¼ cup
  • Butter – 1 tbsp

Instructions 

  • Scoop out the pulp from the mango and blend it to a fine puree. In a mixing bowl add in the mango puree, to this add in the all-purpose flour.
  • Next powder the oats and add it to the mixing bowl along with the Mango puree.
  • Add in a pinch of baking soda and then add in the butter. Whisk everything together.
  • Now add in the Milk whisk everything once again and then check for the consistency, it should be similar to idli batter. Allow it to rest for 10 mins.
  • Heat a tawa, once its hot drizzle with butter, take a ladle full of batter and spread a little allow it to cook on both the sides. Serve with chocolate sauce

Notes

  •  If your mango is less sweet you can also 2 tbsp of powdered sugar along with the batter. My mango was very sweet and hence I dint use sugar.
  •  Serve with honey or chocolate sauce.
  •  Makes a lovely breakfast for the kids.
