Mango Sorbet

Mango Sorbet is much a healthier version compared to the Ice cream as it is vegan ,dairy free and has minimal sugar.Mango Sorbet is made with fresh mangoes.

Standard 1 cup measures 240 ml

Ingredients

  • Mango – 2
  • Sugar – ¼ cup
  • Water – 3 tbsp
  • Cardamom powder – ½ tsp
  • Lemon juice – ½ tsp

Instructions 

  • In a sauce pan add in Sugar, Cardamom powder and Water and allow it to boil till the sugar dissolves and gets a little thick. No one string consistency is required.
  • Wash the Mangoes well and then scoop out the fresh from them to this add in the lemon juice and sugar water.
  • Take everything in a blender and blend well to form a fine paste. Put the contents in a freezer safe bowl and freeze it for 4 hours.
  • After 4 hours scoop everything again to a blender and blend everything once again and the transfer it back to the freezer safer box and freeze again. Repeat the same process for another 4 or 5 time and then finally freeze for another 6 hours continuously.

Notes

  • The more time your blend the frozen mangoes you will get a better consistency of the sorbet.
  •  You can also add a drop of Rose water to the sorbet.
