Soak the peas overnight or about 8 hours. While cooking add it to the pressure cooker along with the required salt and turmeric powder and pressure cooker for 2 whistles. Once the pressure release by its own open the cooker and drain the excess water.
In a blender add in the coconut, green chilli and ginger blend it to a coarse paste and set aside. Heat a pan with oil. Add in the Mustard Seeds, Hing and Curry Leaves let it splutter.
Next add the grated mango and saute for a min and then add in the coconut paste and saute for a min.
Next add in the cooked peas and mix well. Add Salt and Chilli powder. Finally garnish with lemon juice and switch off the flame.
Notes
· Serve hot in the evenings.
· You can also add finely chopped onions and coriander leaves as a garnish.
· Adjust the spiciness as per your taste.
