Keep Dosa Batter ready. Heat dosa tawa. Once its hot , take a ladle full of batter and pour on the pan like a thick dosa. Do not spread much.
Sprinkle finely chopped onions on top of the uthappam. Also sprinkle few finely chopped coriander leaves. Drizzle in oil or ghee over the edges of uthappam.
Flip the uthappam and other side for few secs till it is cooked.
Now the uthappam is ready and serve hot.

Goes well with chutney ,Sambar and Filter coffee.Goes well as a breakfast or snackWe can alter or show variation to the topping of uthappam as we prefer.Add green chili if you prefer a spicier version. Even a simple tadka can be added.
