Oven Baked Sweet Potato

Oven Baked Sweet Potato is a buttery appetizer with sweet potato. It is baked beautifully with butter and it a yummy snack or appetizer.

Standard 1 cup measures 240 ml

Ingredients

  • ¼ kg Sweet Potato
  • 3 tbsp Butter
  • 6 Garlic pods
  • 1 tbsp Lemongrass dried

Instructions 

  • Peel the skin of the sweet potato and then Slice the Sweet potato into small cubes.
  • In a mixing bowl add in the butter and then add in the grated garlic. Mix well until the butter and garlic are combined evenly. Add a pinch of salt.
  • Now to this add in the cubed sweet potato and toss well in the butter and garlic . Finally add in the dried lemon grass and oss well.
  • Line a baking tray with parchment paper and spread the butter tossed garlic . Spread evenly such that the butter and garlic are not sticking to each other.
  • Preheat the oven at 180 Deg C for about 10 mins and then bake them at 180 Deg C for about 30 mins or till the sweet potato turn soft.
  • Serve hot as an appetizer.
