Soak the basmati Rice in water for 30 mins and set aside. In a pressure Cooker add in oil once it heats up add the Fennel seeds ,Star anise ,Cinnamon Stick and Cloves once they leaves a nice aroma and add in the sliced onion and green chilli. Cook till they become glossy.
Next add in cleaned and chopped Mint leaves and Coriander Leaves saute for a while till the leaves shrink and then add in ginger garlic paste saute till the raw smell leaves. Next add in tomatoes and cook till mushy.
Now add the cooked green peas and channa .Mix well and then add the soaked basmati rice. Mix well and saute for 2 mins.
Now add the Coconut Milk, Water, Salt and Lemon Juice. Once it starts to boil close the cooker.
Cook for 1 whistle and wait till the pressure gets released by itself and open the cooker. Fluff the rice slowly. Pulao is now ready to serve.
