Air Fryer Stuffed Mushrooms are a perfect party appetizer. They are cheesy melt in the mouth with a luscious cheese filling and air fried until crisp and golden.
To this add garlic powder, black pepper powder, and the required Salt.
Add the bread crumbs, Finely chopped bell peppers, and Cilantro. Also, add red chili flakes.
Combine everything. The stuffing is now ready.
Prep the Mushroom:
You may use cremini mushrooms or button mushrooms. Wash the mushrooms and immediately pat them dry with paper towels to remove the moisture. Or just wipe the mushrooms with kitchen tissues to remove the dirt particles. Mushrooms absorb water so never leave them in water for a longer time. If washing them pat them dry immediately.
Apply little pressure and remove the stalk of the mushrooms. Press the edges gently to widen them a little so that the mushroom cavities are wide enough for the stuffings. Continue the same process for all the mushrooms.
Stuff the Mushroom
Stuff the mushroom generously with the prepared filling. Don't worry even if you overstuff the mushroom. The cheese melts down so the filling gets perfect even if you overstuff.
Air fry the stuffed Mushrooms:
Preheat the air fryer to 392 F (200 deg C) for 5 mins. Now brush the basket with little oil or use a spray. Arrange the mushrooms in the air fryer baskets. Air fry the patties at 356 F (180 deg C) for 6-8 mins or until the cheese melts and turns golden. Cheesy stuffed mushrooms are now ready.
