Chicken Roast Recipe

Chicken Roast is an easy appetizer recipe. All you need to do is just add all the masala to the chicken along with onion and tomato marinate and then cooked to perfection.

Standard 1 cup measures 240 ml

Ingredients

  • Chicken – ½ kg
  • Ginger garlic paste – 1 tbsp
  • Onion – 1 big
  • Tomato – 1
  • Turmeric powder – ¼ tsp
  • Salt as needed
  • Chilli powder – 1 tsp
  • Garam Masala – ½ tsp
  • Curry Leaves few
  • Oil for shallow frying
  • Coriander leaves to garnish

Instructions 

  • In a big vessel take the cleaned chicken pieces to this add in the ginger garlic paste.
  • Add onion, tomato, turmeric powder and required salt
  • Next add chili powder,Garam Masala ,Mix everything together so that the masala is evenly mixed. Add in the curry leaves also.
  • Allow it to marinate for 4 hours or at least 1 hour. After marination Heat a pan with oil, once hot add all the marinated ingredients. Cook in a low flame.
  • Cook till the chicken is completely cooked and then switch off the flame and garnish with coriander leaves.

Notes

  • Serve hot with any biryani and Raita.
  • Can add Fennel seeds powder for extra flavour.
  • Make sure you marinate for more time to get the chicken tender and flavours are absorbed.
