In a blender add in the ingredients mentioned under the “To Grind” section and blend them to a coarse paste.
Add the blended masala to the cleaned prawn along with salt and turmeric powder. Mix well and allow it to marinate for 30 mins.
After 30 mins. Heat a pan with oil once hot add in the mustard seeds and Fennel seeds. let them splutter and then add in the curry leaves and then onion.
Cook until the onions turn glossy and then add in the marinated prawn mix well.
Add ¼ cup of water. Mix everything together and cook until the prawns are cooked and becomes dry. Finally add in the pepper powder give a good mix and switch off the flame. Garnish with coriander leaves.
Serve hot with Rice or Roti.
Make sure you use coconut oil for cooking which gives a yummy flavour.
