Soak the Rajma overnight and then pressure cook it by adding little Salt for 4 whistles. Wait till the pressure gets released by itself and then drain the excess water and mash the rajma and set aside.
Heat a kadai with oil once its hot add in the curry leaves and ginger saute for few secs and then add in the Onion and cook till its glossy and then add in the mashed rajma and mix well.
Next add in the Chilli powder, Garam Masala. Roasted Cumin powder and Turmeric powder Mix well and then add in the required Salt.
Mix everything together, Sprinkle in few drops of water and cook in a low flame for 2 mins. Finally garnish with coriander leaves and switch off the flame.
Now take the bread slices. First place a lettuce leaf, this is completely optional, Skip if you don’t want. Next add in the generous scoop of the prepared Rajma Masala.
Sprinkle in some amount of Cheese, and then close the bread with another slice. Heat a pan by applying butter.
Place the sandwich and cook for 30 secs and then flip and cook on the other side for another 30 secs. Remove from the stove and serve hot.
Notes
Check and add Salt as we have already added salt while cooking the Rajma.
Serve with tomato Ketchup
I added Mozzarella Cheese it was really good along with the sandwich .Add any Cheese as you prefer.
