Quail Fry | Kaada Fry

 Quail fry recipe is very similar to the chicken fry. It tastes really good. Kaada get cooked really fast and hence it can be prepared very quickly.

Standard 1 cup measures 240 ml

Ingredients

  • Quail / Kaada – 4
  • Ginger garlic paste – 1 tbsp
  • Red Chilli powder – 2 tsp
  • Coriander powder – 1 tsp
  • Garam Masala – 1 tsp
  • Turmeric powder – ¼ tsp
  • Salt as needed
  • Lemon juice from 1 lemon
  • Oil for frying

Instructions 

  • Clean the quail and keep it ready. In a mixing bowl add in the red chilli powder, coriander powder, Turmeric powder, Garam Masala, Ginger garlic paste and salt. Sprinkle little water and make it to paste. Add in the lemon juice.
  • Add the Quail pieces and mix well such that the masala spreads evenly and fully over the quail. Allow it to marinate for 30 mins. Heat a pan with oil.
  • Once hot add in the marinated quail pieces and fry on both the sides till they are cooked to perfection. Serve hot

Notes

  • Goes well Rice or Roti.
  •  You can chop the Quail into either 2 or 4 pieces.
  •  Shallow fry or deep fry as per your preference.
