Standard 1 cup measures 240 ml
Ingredients
Drumstick Leaves – 2 cups tightly packed
Small onions/ Shallots – 5
Tomato – 1 medium sixed
Garlic – 3 pods
Ginger a small piece crushed
Water – 3 cups
Salt as needed
Pepper as needed
Ghee – 1 tsp
Cumin seeds – ½ tsp
Instructions
Switch on the Instant Pot. Once its shows on add in the oil. Wait till it gets hot and then add in cumin seeds let it splutter.
Next add in the chopped Shallots, garlic, crushed ginger, and tomato. Saute for 2 mins.
Next, add the moringa leaves or drumstick leaves. Saute for a min. The leaves shrink so quickly.
Add in the water or vegetable stock. Combine everything.
Add in the pepper powder
And then finally add in the required salt.
Mix well and close the Instant Pot. Press pressure cook option and cook for 2 mins in high pressure.
Wait for a natural pressure release and then open the Instant Pot. Nutritious Instant Pot drumstick leaves soup s ready.
Notes
· You can actually serve it as it is with the leaves but I prefer to strain and have the soup.
