In a mixing bowl add in Wheat flour, baking powder salt.
Next add in the black poppy seeds mix everything together.
In another mixing bowl add in the cane sugar, Oil, and lemon zest.
Next add in the lemon Juice. Mix everything together. Slowly add in the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients.
Knead everything together to form a dough. Cling wrap it and put it in the fridge for 30 mins.
After 30 mins. Roll the dough with a rolling pin and then use a cookie cutter and cut in your favorite shape. Put everything in a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
Preheat the oven at 180 Deg C for 10 mins and then bake the at 180 Deg for about 12-15 mins or until the cookies turn crisp.
Allow the cookies to cool completely and then store in airtight containers.
Notes
Use room temperature Butter.The cookies are mildly sweet.
