Cucumber Dosa| Vellarikai Dosai | Mangalore Cucumber Crepes
Cucumber Dosa is a Mangalore Specialty Dosa made with fresh cucumber along with spices in the Idli, Dosa batter.
Prevent your screen from going dark
Standard 1 cup measures 240 ml
Dosa Batter – 1 cup
Salt to taste
Chopped Cucumber – ½ cup
Green Chilli – 1
Ginger a small piece
Coriander leaves – 1 tbsp
Grind the ingredients mentioned in the “To Grind” section to a fine puree.
In a vessel take dosa batter and to this add in the ground cucumber puree. Mix well and then add in Salt and mix well.
Heat the dosa pan ,once hot pour a ladle full of dosa batter .Drizzle oil over the edges of the dosa and Cover cook for few secs.
Flip the dosa and cook till it is done. Serve hot.
· Tastes good when served with Chutney or Sambar.
· Makes an excellent breakfast.
· Adjust the spiciness as per your preference.
