Ingredients

  • All-purpose flour – ½ cup
  • Soft unsalted butter – ¼ cup
  • Powdered sugar – ¼ cup
  • Lemon zest – 1 tbsp
  • Vanilla essence – 1 tsp

Instructions 

  • In a bowl add in all-purpose flour and powdered sugar Next add in the Lemon zest.
  • Now add in the soft butter or melted butter and Vanilla essence. Mix well and bring everything to form a soft dough.
  • Using a hand or cookie-cutter shape it to form any desired shape. Plate it in a baking tray and put it into the fridge while you preheat the oven. Preheat at 180 Deg C for about 10 mins and then bake the cookies at 180 Deg C for about 23-15 mins. Allow it to cool completely and then store in airtight containers.

Notes

Serve hot along with chai/coffee.
The cookies will be soft immediately after they come out of the oven but will become crisp once it cools down.
