In a mixing bowl add in finely chopped onion and Coriander leaves and then add in the required salt.
Mix everything together for even mixing of Salt. Heat a dosa a tawa , Once it is hot take a ladle full of batter and pour on the tawa ,do not spread.
Give a generous sprinkle of onion and coriander mix. Drizzle in oil on the top and sides of the uthappam, cover and cook .
Flip and cook on the other side for few secs till it is done and serve hot.
Notes
· Goes well with chutney ,Sambar and Filter coffee.
· Usually served for breakfast.
· Many variations can be made in the toppings. Green chilli can be added. Even a simple tadka can be added.
