In a mixing bowl Sift together all propose flour, baking powder, baking soda. Combine everything and set aside.
In another mixing bowl add granulated sugar and cooking oil.
To this add in the yogurt. Use un flavored thick yogurt.
Next, add in Milk and Vanilla extract. Combine everything together until the sugar dissolves.
Now gently combine the dry and wet ingredients in batches. Combine with a spatula and do not over mix the batter.
Add in ¾ cup chopped strawberries and fold into the batter.
Line a 9 inch round baking pan with parchment paper and transfer the prepared cake batter. The batter is slightly thick.
Add in a few sliced strawberries on top of the baking pan. Also, sprinkle in granulated sugar on top. This gives a nice finish to the cake after baking.
Preheat the oven at 180 Deg C for about 10 mins and then bake at 180 Deg C for about 40-45 mins. Remove it from the oven and then allow it to cool completely and then slice.
