Pit and remove the seeds from the dates. Add them to a blender. If using a high speed blender you can use them as a whole. Else chop them into small pieces and add to blender.
Next add Walnuts, Cocoa powder, and salt.
Next, add the Almond butter.
Blend well to a coarse or fine paste as you prefer.
Transfer to a mixing bowl and scoop in equal portions and shape them as balls.
Healthy Chocolate date balls are now ready.

Notes
You can also chop the dates and then add them to the blender. If you have a powerful blender you can add them directly.
Instead of almond butter, you can add any nut butter. Peanut butter or even cashew butter works well.
If you prefer a nut free butter sunflower seeds butter too works well.
Adding a pinch of salt is optional but it elevates the taste so highly recommend adding it.
Feel free to decorate the date balls as you prefer.
