Coleslaw

Coleslaw is a raw salad consisting for freshly shredded cabbage along with salad dressing and seasonings.

Standard 1 cup measures 240 ml

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Cabbage sliced lengthwise
  • ½ cup Carrot – sliced lengthwise
  • 1 tsp Vinegar
  • 1 tsp Maple syrup
  • ¼ cup Mayonnaise
  • Salt as needed

Instructions 

  • In a small bowl add mayonnaise, vinegar , maple syrup , salt and pepper powder.
  • Whisk well until combine and smooth.
  • In another bowl add sliced cabbage and carrot. I am using white and purple cabbage. To this add the prepared dressing.
  • Toss well until combined.

Notes

You can also add lemon juice instead of vinegar.
You can serve coleslaw along with rolls, wraps, shawarma or simply as a salad.
