Sura Puttu | Meen Puttu | Shredded Fish Stir Fry
Sura Puttu or Meen Puttu is a yummy delicacy prepared with paal sura or shark fish. It has medicinal properties and good for lactating mothers.

Ingredients

Fish
steam cook or boil the fish with salt and turmeric powder

Coconut Oil

Instructions
Cook the Fish
In a pan add in water once it boils add in a required salt and a pinch of turmeric powder and cook the fish till it’s done and switch off the flame.
Allow it to cool down and then. Remove the bones from the fish and shred the fish in to small pieces.
How to Cook Meen Puttu
Heat oil in a pan once it heats up add in Mustad Seeds, fennel seeds, urad dal.
Let it splutter and then add in curry leaves and ginger garlic paste. Cook till the raw smell leaves.
Then add in chopped onions and green chilli. Cook till they turn glossy
Next add in Chili powder, Turmeric powder, Pepper powder and the required salt and cook in a low flame for 2 mins
Next add in the shredded fish pieces and saute in a low flame for 5 mins.
Finally add in freshly grated coconut and mix well.
Garnish with coriander leaves and switch off the flame. Serve hot with rice.
