Loaded nachos is one of the simple pleasures. It is one of my favorites, call it snack or appetizer. May be a good friend during a game day or a potluck. An easy and anybody can make dish and easy to customize.

Ingredients
Tortilla Chips - Use any plain or flavored tortilla chips or nachos.
Cheese - Use any cheese blend as you prefer. I like to use a combination of sharp cheddar and mozzarella.
Beans - Gives a protein punch to the nachos.
Salsa - I used my homemade cherry tomato salsa. You can simply use any homemade or storebought salsa.
Taco seasonings - Adds a perfect spice balance to the nachos.
Onions, Tomato, Pepper - Chop all of them finely and sprinkle over the nachos.
Toppings - Feel free to load and customize the nachos as you prefer. Here are some options, Black olives, de seeded Jalapenos, Cilantro
Steps to follow to make Nachos like a Pro
Prep the veggies: Chop all the veggies as needed. Most common ones are onion, tomato, pepper, Jalapenos. It will come handy and speed up the process.
Prep the condiments: If using store bought salsa or canned beans keep them ready. Drain the excess water from the beans wash them and keep them.
Prep your device: I'm using an air fryer, but you can also use your oven. If using an air fryer, it's wise to line the air fryer basket with parchment paper or aluminum foil to avoid the mess. The same applies to oven as well. Line the baking tray with parchment paper or aluminum foil.
Assemble the Nachos: Arrange the chips, followed by cheese, beans, seasonings, veggies. You can also double the layers if you prefer.
Topping for the Nachos: Use as you prefer and as per your taste. Cook the Nachos: The last step, Air fry or Bake the Nachos as you prefer.
How to make Air Fryer Nachos
Spread parchment paper over an air fryer basket. Arrange the tortilla chips on top of the parchment paper.
Next spread in a generous layer of cheese. I am using mozzarella cheese. But you can use a combination of cheese.
Top it with some salsa and black beans.
Sprinkle some chopped onions, tomato, Olives, bell pepper and taco seasoning. If you like some spice, you also deseed and finely chop jalapenos and add them. You can also add more cheese if you prefer.
Now put the basket to the air fryer. Air fry at 160 C / 320 F for 5 mins or till the cheese melts.
Oven baked Nachos
If you are cooking in oven. Line the baking tray with parchment paper or aluminum foil. Arrange the ingredients as mentioned above. Bake at 180 C / 356 F for 15-20 mins or till the cheese melts.

Tips & Variations
- Nachos tastes best when served immediately. You can also sprinkle more salsa, onion and tomato as you serve.
- You can use canned or dried beans. If using canned beans drain them completely and use. For dried beans, soak them over night and then cook them in Instant Pot or Pressure cook and use.
- You can customize the toppings as per your preference.
- Cook the beans, Prep the toppings when you get time. Assembling the nachos and cooking gets done in just 10 mins.
- If you do not have an oven, you can make the same recipe in your oven to. Arrange the baking tray and bake at 180 C / 350 F for 15-20 mins or till the cheese melts.
Serving Suggestions
Call it a snack or appetizer. It is perfect for any occasion. You may assemble all the ingredients and keep them ready and air fryer them before you serve. You can serve the nachos with sour cream, salsa, pico de gello.
Storage Options
Nachos tastes good immediately after cooking. So, no storing & freezing. Prep all the ingredients and air fryer before you serve.
