In a Cooker add in the Oil once its hot add in the Fennel Seeds let it splutter and then in Cinnamon Stick and Star Anise. Now add in the sliced onions and saute till glossy.
Next add in the ginger garlic paste, saute for a min and then add in the tomatoes let it cook till its completely mashed.
Meanwhile in a blender add in the Mint leaves, Coriander leaves, Green Chilli and coconut. Blend it to a fine paste by adding water.
Set the ground paste aside. Now add in the cleaned chicken pieces to the gravy and mix well.
Next add in the Chilli powder ,Coriander powder, Garam Masala ,Turmeric powder and the required Salt and mix well. And then add in the ground green paste and mix well.
Add in the required water and cook the gravy in a high flame for 4 whistles. Wait till the pressure is completely released and then open the cooker. Serve the gravy with Roti ,Idli, Dosa or Rice.
Notes
Serve hot with Chapati Phulka, Pulao or even Idli or Dosa.
