Breakfast smoothie
Smoothies can make a really healthy breakfast. We can portion control the ingredients added to a smoothie.
We can make them low in sugar, and high in protein, and fiber which helps us stay full for a longer time.
They are quick and easy to make and come in handy in just a few mins. The most important one is a smoothie is delicious.
Ingredients
Strawberry - Use fresh strawberries for the smoothie. It gives a nice creamy texture and a lovely pink tint.
Gulkand - It is the dried rose petals Jam. You can refer to my homemade Gulkand too. It has a good cooling property and hence it's perfect for the summer.
Milk - Use Chilled Milk for the smoothie. You can replace it with any vegan milk too.
Sugar - Use if you prefer else skip. If the strawberries are too sweet you can alter the quantity. Also, you can replace sugar with maple syrup or honey too.
Yogurt - Use any flavorless yogurt or greek yogurt.
How to make Strawberry Gulkand Smoothie
1.Take the strawberries. Chop off the green part and wash them well and then chop the strawberry into small pieces.
2. In a blender or food processor add chopped strawberry, Gulkand, Yogurt, Sugar.
3. Next, add Cold Milk. Blend well to a frothy smoothie.
Serve immediately in a tall glass.
Tips
- I used my homemade Gulkand for preparing the smoothie.
- Serve the smoothie immediately. Top it with ice cubes if required. I used cold milk so dint use ice cubes.
- The Smoothie is filling and hence it can be had for breakfast as a whole with fruits and nuts.
- It is very cooling and refreshing.
Serving Suggestions
You can serve them for breakfast along with nuts or fruits. Or perfect for a mid morning drink.

Strawberry Gulkand Smoothie
Standard 1 cup measures 240 ml
Equipment

Ingredients
- 2 cups Cold Milk
- 10 Strawberry
- 2 tbsp Gulkand
- 2 tbsp Yogurt
- 3 tbsp Sugar or Honey
Instructions
- Take the strawberries. Chop off the green part and wash them well and then chop the strawberry in to small pieces.
