Thogayal
Thogayal or Thuvaiyal is a thicker chutney prepared in India especially Tamil Nadu with lentils or coconut. It has different names in different south Indian States.
Thogayal is referred as Chammanti is Kerala, Pachadi in Andhra, Chutney in Karnataka. There may be slight varaiation in the recipes based on the region however the concept and the base is the same. They are like a thick dry chutney. Goes well with rice or Porridge.
