1. Peel and remove the skin of the Palm sprouts. You can cut into smaller pieces as per your wish.
2. In a pressure cooker add in water along with salt and the required water and add the Palm sprouts, Cook for 4 whistles in a medium flame and it should be done.

Ingredients
- 10 Panag kizhangu / Palm Sprouts
- Salt as needed
- Water as needed
Instructions
- Peel and remove the skin of the Palm sprouts. You can cut into smaller pieces as per your wish.
- In a pressure cooker add in water along with salt and the required water and add the Palm sprouts, Cook for 4 whistles in a medium flame and it should be done.
Notes
- Remove the head portion and then inner thin part ,this will help in the longer shelf life of palm sprouts.
- It is rich in fibre.
- Alternatively, it can be cooked in open pot also with excess water.
