    Yogurt and Coconut Brownies | Egg less Yogurt and Coconut Brownies

    Brownies are one of my weakness, I always find some excuses to get baking brownies every now and then so with this Mega Marathon would I miss .So here comes a delicious Brownie recipe with the goodness of coconuts!! Now let’s get started!

    Yogurt and Coconut Brownies

    Ingredients                            

    All Purpose Flour – ¾ cup
    Unsalted Butter – ½ cup
    Powdered sugar – 1 cup
    Yogurt – ½ cup +  2 tbsp
    Desiccated Coconut – ½ cup
    Chocolate Chips – ½ cup
    Cocoa powder – ⅓ cup
    Baking powder – 2 tsp
    Salt a pinch
    Vanilla essence – 1 ½ tbsp
    Step by step Method with pictures:
    1. In a sauce pan start melting the butter and once it is melted set aside. In a mixing bowl sift together all-purpose flour, Sugar, Salt, Baking powder and Cocoa powder together.
    2. Mix the dry ingredients together to form a homogeneous mixture. Now along with the Melted butter add in the Yogurt and Vanilla essence.
    3. Whisk everything together evenly, the mixture may looks curdled a little but that is absolutely ok. Slowly fold together the wet ingredients and dry ingredients together till they are mixed evenly without any lumps.
    4. Now add in the chocolate chips and desiccated Coconut and mix everything together. Prepare a baking pan and line it with Parchment paper.
    5. Pour the brownie batter in the prepared cake tin. Place few almonds or any nuts of your choice. Preheat the oven at 180 Deg C for about 10 mins and the bake the brownies for in 180 Deg c for about 30 mins or a tooth pick when inserted comes out clean.

    Notes:
    • Allow the brownies to cool completely before you chop into pieces, otherwise it may crumble.
    • Brownies can be served with Ice cream. Both go well together.
    • Baking time may vary from oven to oven

    Serve with a scoop of your fav ice cream, topped with nuts!!
