     How to make Badam Powder in home | Almond Powder for Kids | Badam Mix Recipe with step by step pictures. Almond is very healthy nut and can be fed easily to the kids in the powder form if they refuse to eat as whole nuts.It can also be fed to kids from 10 + months. If your are feeding cereal or any other porridge you can add a tsp of this Almond mix powder and feed to your baby. Now lets see how to make healthy Almond Mix powder in home.

    I prepared my Almond Wheat coconut Cookies with this powder . Yo can also prepare Almond Kheer and Badam Milk .

    Homemade Almond Powder Recipe

       Step by step Method with pictures: 
        1.    Soak the Almonds in hot water for 10 mins. After soaking peel the skin of the almonds and allow it to dry completely without any moisture.

     2.    Dry roast the almonds in a very low flame until it turns light golden. Allow it to cool and the transfer to a blender.

      3.    Next add in the Cardamom powder and Palm sugar candy or Palm sugar powder. Blend well till smooth. Store it in a sterilized bottle and use for your kids.

    Standard 1 cup measures 240 ml

    Ingredients

    • ½ kg Almonds / Badam
    • 2 tsp Cardamom powder
    • ¼ cup Palm Sugar (Panangalkandu )

    Instructions

    Notes

    •  Can be used to prepare Badam Milk or Badam Kheer.
    •  Use it to you toddlers in the porridges.
    •  Or mix it along with milk for your kids.
    •  Instead of Cardamom powder you can also use the whole cardamom its more flavourful.
    •  Stays good for 2 months if refrigerated.
