📖 Recipe
Paneer Pizza
Standard 1 cup measures 240 ml
Ingredients
For Pizza Base:
- 2 cup All Purpose Flour / Maida
- 1 tsp Salt
- ½ cup Water
- ½ tbsp Active Dry Yeast
- 1 tsp Sugar
- 1 tbsp Olive Oil
For Toppings:
- Pizza Sauce as needed
- Mozzarella cheese as needed
- 1 Onion
- 1 Capsicum
- 100 gm Paneer
- 1 tbsp Red chili flakes
Instructions
- In a bowl add in luke warm water, to this add in the yeast and Sugar. Set it aside without any disturbance for 10 mins.
- In another bowl, take the flour, to this add in the Salt. The yeast would have bloomed by now, add this to the flour mixture.
- Knead the flour to a soft dough for 5 to 10 mins. Add in the olive oil and knead the dough once again .
- Cover the kneaded dough with a cling wrap and place it in a dark and warm place. let it rest for 2 hours. The dough would have proofed by now. After two hours. Punch in the dough and knead a little.
- Take a baking tray and line it with parchment paper.Place the dough and spread the dough with hands or a rolling pin to form the shape. With a ladle press and form a circular rim in shape . Prick it with a fork thought the pizza.
- Now preheat the oven at 180 Deg for 10 mins and bake the pizza base at 180 Deg C for 12 min. Meanwhile prepare the toppings. Saute the paneer cubes in butter for few mins ,Slice the onions, Capsicum and then grate the cheese and keep it ready.
- Once the pizza base is baked. Spread the base with the pizza sauce generously and then sprinkle it with grated cheese.
- Next add in the onion and capsicum slice. And then add in the butter toasted paneer. Sprinkle in some extra cheese and then red chilli flakes.
- Now bake the pizza again at 220 Deg C for 8 mins.
Notes
- I have used Mozzarella cheese , you any cheese you prefer.
- Feel free to decorate the pizza with the toppings you prefer.
- Baking the base first and then add the toppings will make the pizza come out perfect.
- The baking time may vary from oven to oven so check for the it when then the pizza moves freely in the baking tray and it becomes golden.
