Granola is a healthy and nutritious breakfast loaded with oats and nuts. It is rich in fiber and has many ideal nutrients. Making granola at home is totally fun as you can customize the recipe as per your preference.

Homemade Granola
I love making granola at home. Rather than breakfast, I prefer them for snacking. It is economical and free from preservatives and has no excess sugar. Everything is in our control. Totally love this fact about the homemade goodies.
Ingredients
Rolled Oats - Always use the old-fashioned rolled oats. They are totally perfect for the granola.
Almond Butter - We may need some nut butter that helps in binding the dry and wet ingredients. You can also use peanut butter or cashew butter.
Sweeteners - I am using Maple syrup and Brown sugar for sweetness. You can also use honey If you do not prefer a vegan version.
Nuts - I am using a mix of Almonds, Walnuts.
Seeds - I am using pumpkin seeds, Sunflower seeds, and chia seeds.
Dry fruits - they also bring a natural sweetness to the granola. I am using Apricots, cranberry, and Raisins.
How to make Airfryer Granola
In a mixing bowl add oil, almond Butter, Maple Syrup, Brown Sugar.
Next add a pinch of salt.
Combine everything.
To this add the Rolled Oats. Combine such that all the oats are coated with the liquid ingredients.
In another mixing, bowl add chopped almonds, chopped Walnuts, Pumpkin seeds, and Sunflower seeds. Combine and set aside.
Preheat the air fryer to 400 F / 200 C for 5 mins. Spread parchment paper over the air fryer basket. Make sure you poke some holes in the paper for air circulation.
Spread the granola over the parchment paper. Spread with a spatula and ensure it's spread evenly. Air fry at 160 C for 5 mins.After 5 mins open the air fryer and then add the mixed nuts.
Spread everything once again with a spatula. Air fry once again at 160 C for 5 mins.
After 5 mins open the air fryer and mix the granola. Air fry the granola at 160 C for another 3 mins.
Now the granola is ready. Spread the air-fried granola over a baking tray. Now add the chopped Apricots, dried raspberry, raisins, and chia seeds. Combine everything. Let it cool down completely.
Airfryer Granola is now ready. Store in an air-tight container.
Tips & Variations
- Be totally creative with the granola ingredients. Apart from the primary ingredients feel free to customize the ingredients as per your taste.
- You can replace the nuts and dry fruits as per your taste and availability.
- You can also flavor them in cinnamon, nutmeg, or cardamom if you prefer.
Serving Options
Makes an ideal breakfast material. You can serve than with milk. Or you can serve than along with some yogurt and fruit parfait.
It also tastes good as a munching snack.
Storing Options
Granola stays good at room temperature. Whenever I make a batch it lasts up to 3 weeks. They are fresh and crisp.
