Sweet Potato Paratha
2. Peel the skin of the sweet potato and mash them well until soft.
3. Transfer it to a mixing bowl to this add in the wheat flour, Red Chilli powder.
4. Next add in the Turmeric powder, Roasted Cumin powder and the required Salt.
5. Finely chopped coriander leaves. Sprinkle water little by little and knead them to a soft dough. Add little ghee and knead the dough once again. Allow it to rest for 30 mins.
6. Pinch in a small portion of the dough. Dust the surface generously and flatten the dough like a paratha.
7. Heat a tawa, Once its hot add in the paratha and cook, drizzle oil/ghee over the sides and spread, Flip and cook on both the sides until it is cooked well.
8. Serve hot with curd and pickle.

Sweet Potato Paratha
Standard 1 cup measures 240 ml
Ingredients
To pressure cook:
- Sweet Potato – 2
- Water – ½ cup
Other ingredients:
- Wheat Flour – 2 cups
- Red Chilli powder – ½ tsp
- Turmeric powder – ½ tsp
- Roasted Cumin Powder – 1 tsp
- Salt as needed
- Coriander leaves – ¼ cup finely chopped
- Ghee – 1 tsp
- Water as needed
- Oil / Ghee or butter to drizzle and cook the paratha.
Instructions
- Cut the Sweet potato in to 2 pieces. Transfer it to a pressure cooker add ½ cup water and pressure cook for 3 whistles. Wait till the pressure is released on its own and then open the cooker.
