Tips & Tricks

- I usually have a skewer or chopsticks and then place my potato in between for balance and then keep slicing the potato.
- You can try chopsticks or a wooden spatula too.
- That way it doesn't get slipped and is perfectly balanced.
- Always pick uniform-sized potatoes and make sure all the slices are of uniform thickness. This helps the potato cook uniformly.
- Perfect to make a ⅛th ¼th inch thickness slice. Not more or less.
- Make sure to brush the potato with enough butter or oil for a perfect crispy potato.
- There is also a hasselback potato cutter online. You can also buy and use it if you find it difficult to cut.
Serving Options
They are at their best and crisp when they are just out of the air fryer or oven. You can actually cook for a few mins and do the final cooking before your serve.
Serving Suggestions
Storing the hasselback potato will lose its crispiness. Hence I suggest cook and serve immediately. You can definitely slice the potato and freeze it and use it as you need. But brush with butter, cook, and serve immediately
